What is Covered?
We are proud to be approved providers under the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program, ensuring accessible and culturally aware counselling services for Indigenous individuals. Through NIHB, your sessions are fully covered, allowing you to focus on your healing journey without financial stress.
You will be covered for up to two initial assessments to understand your unique needs, followed by up to 20 fully paid counselling sessions per calendar year. If additional services are required, further sessions may be covered based on your needs and NIHB's approval.
Our commitment is to provide a supportive, respectful, and culturally grounded environment to help you thrive. Let us support you in taking the first steps toward well-being and empowerment. To discuss further, please schedule a free consultation with our therapists, and we would be happy to support you.
What to Expect From Therapy
Learning More About You
Our process begins with a free initial consultation, during which we gather information about your needs, goals, and concerns. This allows us to better understand how we can support you and tailor our services to your unique situation. Following the consultation, we handle the submission for prior approval with NIHB, ensuring that your services are covered.
Developing A Plan
Once approval is secured, we will begin your counselling sessions and submit claims on your behalf for each session, so you can concentrate on your healing journey without administrative burdens. Our sessions are not a 'one size fits all' approach, so we will work with you to develop a plan tailored to your needs and support your healing journey.
Support Along The Way
From there, we will continue progress check-ins along the way to ensure you are gaining the skills and support you need while adding and/or changing our goals/plan as needed. If additional services are needed, we will work with you to request further coverage based on your needs and NIHB approval.

Our Approach is..
Culturally grounded
Genuinely trauma-informed
Rooted in cultural humility and relational healing
In our sessions, we might talk about anxiety, disconnection, grief, or identity. But we might also ask, “How’s your spirit today?” or invite you to explore your relationship with land, ancestors, or ceremony—only if and when you’re ready or if that feels right to you.
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in a relationship. And our work together honours that truth.
What Healing Might Look Like for You
You might notice after just a few sessions:
A sense of lightness you haven’t felt in years
Less loneliness, more clarity
New insight into your story and your patterns
A quiet pride returning—to your voice, your culture, your identity
Over time, your relationships begin to feel more real. You begin to feel like you belong—not because you’ve changed, but because you’ve come home to yourself.
